The IV Conference "Down syndrome: from diagnosis to therapy" was held online on October 16 and 17, 2020. This conference, which is the most significant appointment in Italy to discuss this chromosomal pathology, is organized by the Department of Molecular Medicine and Medical Biotechnology, in particular by the research group of Prof. Lucio Nitsch.

The conference, although scientific in nature, has the important characteristic of being gratuitous and open to all, and has within it sessions that are specifically dedicated to the scientific dissemination on Down syndrome. In addition to researchers, these sessions are attended by students, staff in training, representatives of Down syndrome associations and relatives of people with Down syndrome.
